About John-Paul Donovan

I found a way into construction via the same route in bricklaying, attending the local college where I gained my City and Guilds. I then worked my way up through my apprenticeships on lots of different projects. These ranged from new build houses, in brick, block, and stone work. I have also done a lot of work with Bath stone. I have worked a lot on house renovations and re-modelling, which included structural works to internal walls, removal of walls to form openings, and the insertion of steel to accommodate this work. I have also worked on various listed building projects, and are familiar with lime mortar work.

I have a lot of experience with project management, I myself achieved a distinction for my HND in construction at Swindon College. These projects range from extensions, and large refurbishment jobs to new build houses, and notably a large housing development in Bradford-on-Avon, which I project managed.

I have a new company, but I have a very focused and determined idea of what we would like to achieve. This simply is to provide the best service I can for you, for the best price possible. I feel our attention to detail and quality of finish is what will stand GWBS out from other contractors.
